Links to Social Media
Create your own Website
Website & Social Media - If you do not have a website yet, please stop right now and make one. First, when creating your own website you will not have to rely on other people creating one for you and getting all the credibility. I am not mentioning the ReverbNation your Name .com kind of website, I mean your name.com website. Where you can store your EPK with all of your music , professional pictures, high quality videos, social media and upcoming performance. Second, by creating a strong online presence, media and fans can follow you and validate your work. Add social media links to your EPK, only add social platforms you are mostly active on, such as Facebook, Instagram and Youtube.
BIO - You may think your bio has to be your entire life story. Now imagine if you are 25 years old and have been singing since 5, how long would that take to read? A great bio has to be short and to the point. Most people will even skip this part, not that they don’t care about who you are but if is too long of a story it will get boring and they might lose the interest. Add the bio as one of the last EPK presentation. The bio should include ,where you grew up, what influenced you to get into music, important things you have done and where are you heading.
